Jen is an award-winning filmmaker who has spent most of her life in the Arkansas Delta, where storytelling is a powerful and multifaceted tradition. Jen believes that the most impactful stories often begin with overlooked people and places. Having met many of these people through the years, when Jen became a documentary filmmaker, she used the medium to bring their rich stories forward. Her films have appeared at major film festivals and reflect a commitment to empowered storytelling. Jen leads creative direction for the Porchlight Film Festival and is currently creating micro-documentaries for a global media brand.
