About Jen
Jen Nobles (she/her/hers) is a multidiciplinary artist and filmmaker dedicated to empowered storytelling. As a director, screenwriter, documentarian, and actor, she seeks to bring visibility and parity to women and girls, who historically face economic and social barriers. Recognized for her contributions to the field, she was named Rookie of the Year by Low Key Arts, where she studies her craft.
Jen is a member of Women In Film Arkansas and is currently developing a documentary on Black, female farmers in Arkansas. Her projects have previously been featured at major film festivals and galleries, and she is currently promoting her movie Bee Bold, an empowerment piece for girls, on the festival circuit.
She serves on the board of the Northeast Arkansas Mutual Aid Society, where she contributes to outreach, arts programming, skills training initiatives, and fundraising for local resource organizations. She is committed to exploring themes of environmental and social justice and is a proud act!v!st, advocate, and accomplice.
Jen resides in Arkansas where she raised her awesome kids into amazing adults. She grows food, medicinal herbs, and exotic plants at her urban wildlife sanctuary where she lives with her three poodles and dotes on her granddaughter.
